[Beau·ti·fied Ta·boo] premiered at Superdeluxe in July 2008. Created and produced by Vivienne U.H. Doan, this exhibition goes into its second year after a successful launch.
A new set of 12 Artists are invited to showcase a multi-layered + multi-cultured world of taboos in beautified ways. Emerging and established artists from different backgrounds and art disciplines, explore and share their interpretations of taboos.
This eclectic collection of controversial art works will feature Photography, Video + Visual Arts, interactive Live Installations. Taboos such as Drugs, Gender identity, Sex & Death, Child abuse etc. are represented at this year's show.
